This year’s Wendell H. Carr Memorial Golf Tournament is on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Crooked Tree Golf Course in Browns Summit, North Carolina. We have several sponsorship opportunities and we use the proceeds to fund the ES Carr and Virginia H. Carr Memorial Scholarship that was initiated in 1982 after the death of our father, ES Carr, Sr.

Even back then, we recognized that pursuing an academic degree had its economic challenges. Thus, we optimistically set out to create a scholarship fund that, in a small but essential manner, would assist students majoring in Agricultural Engineering at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. We are proud of our efforts and are profoundly appreciative of all of the financial support that we have received over the years.

We are fully aware, unfortunately, that the costs of attending universities and colleges continue to soar. Although our dedication to maintain our capacity to assist these deserving students is steadfast, we also acknowledge that we cannot keep pace without financial assistance from you, our supporters, family, and cheerleaders.
